No. Nobody can guarantee to double your money, and the ones who promise it pay early investors with later investors' money until it collapses. Nepal Rastra Bank has said that trading and mining cryptocurrency is illegal in Nepal, and it has warned that pyramid-style network marketing schemes are illegal too. Put savings only in banks and financial institutions licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank, or in shares through a broker licensed by SEBON.

- Crypto, forex or "AI trading" run through a chat group.
- You can't withdraw without paying a fee or tax first.
- Pressure to invest more before an "opportunity" closes.
Common problems
Is crypto legal in Nepal?
No. In 2021 Nepal Rastra Bank said transactions, use and mining of cryptocurrency are illegal. It has repeated the warning since. Crypto and Binance "trading" schemes are among the frauds police list.

Early members of these schemes are often paid with newer members' money to recruit more people. It doesn't last.
Is network marketing allowed?
Nepal Rastra Bank has named schemes such as Crowd1 and HyperFund as illegal network marketing that uses crypto. Schemes where you earn mainly by recruiting people are pyramid schemes.
Where can I invest safely?
Banks and financial institutions licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank, government bonds and shares or mutual funds through SEBON-licensed brokers and fund managers. Returns are lower, but your money is regulated.
