Short answer
The National Examinations Board (NEB) publishes SEE results on its website, where you check them free with your symbol number and date of birth. You can also send SEE followed by a space and your symbol number by SMS to 1600 from Nepal Telecom, though SMS costs a small fee. If you got NG (not graded) in a subject, you can sit the grade increment exam in that subject a few weeks later. In 2083 regular students could retake every subject they got NG in.
The details

| Method | How | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| NEB website | Symbol number and date of birth | Free |

Keep a screenshot or printout. The official gradesheet comes later through your school.
Common problems
What does NG mean?
Not graded. You didn't reach the minimum mark in that subject. You can take the grade increment exam in it to get a grade.
Who can take the grade increment exam?
Regular students from that year's SEE who got NG. In 2083 NEB allowed them to sit every NG subject, held from 1 to 9 Ashadh. Check NEB's notice each year, because the rules have changed before.
I think my grade is wrong.
Apply for retotalling during the window in NEB's notice, usually a couple of weeks after results. Retotalling rechecks the addition of marks, not the marking itself.
My name or date of birth is wrong on the gradesheet.
Corrections go through your school to NEB with your birth certificate. Do it early, before you need the gradesheet for grade 11 admission.
