Short answer
Fill in the voter registration form on the Election Commission's website. If you already have a National ID, you may be able to complete registration online. Without one, take the form's code number to your district election office to give your photo and fingerprints. You must be 18 by the cut-off date the Commission sets for each election.
The details
Good to know
- You vote where you're registered, so register in the place you'll actually be on election day.
- The Election Commission's site also lets you check whether your name is already on the voter list.
- Registration often closes some weeks before an election. Don't leave it late.
